OUR HISTORY
It all started back in 1920 when John’s father Dymtro emigrated to Canada and moved to South Porcupine to work at the Dome Mine in order to save up enough money to bring his wife Maria, son John, and daughter Lena to Canada.
In 1938, John’s father bought a used two-ton dump truck. This sole truck coupled with a hand shovel was the beginning of the family-run business. In no time John was hauling sand and wood to customers around Iroquois falls and area. Business started to bloom and not long after that John was helping with bigger jobs out of town. The business has carried onto three generations.
OUR STORY
The business started over 60 years ago from John Wlad Sr. The business has carried onto three generations and counting. We all grew with the business to improve our skills and make it easy to adapt to any project. Our experience and unique individuals make our business stand out from the rest.
We done a lot of work for public sectors to private companies. We are confident that we can provide all the necessary resources to fulfill any contracts or projects. With the business in existence for over 60 years we have done nothing but look after the customers interest at all times.

MEET THE TEAM
As of September 2020, the company has moved onto another generation. Fred Wlad Sr. retired after 30+ years working and owning the company with his siblings. Fred Sr. taught the boys all of the ins and outs of the construction company all their lives.
He passes on his knowledge and understanding to his boys. Fred Wlad Jr. stepping up to President and welcoming his brother Terry Wlad to ownership. Their main goal is to ensure their customers are happy and pleased with all jobs they do.
